Sandpoint’s Brian Farber continues to light up the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL) indoor pro league, leading the Stockton Cougars (5-2) in scoring with 27 points, coming on a team-high 19 goals and eight assists.

Thunder fans will remember Farber as lightning quick, with overall speed that may have been the best in the USL in 2007. The Thunder did not renew Farber’s contract in 2008 and he never caught on with another USL team. However, Farber has had good success in indoor play.

Farber scored four goals in a game earlier this season for the Cougars, and on Sunday will face the San Diego Shockers in the second round of the United States Arena Soccer Open Cup Championship.

The winner advances to the Final Four portion of the tournament, with the PASL pro championship slated for March 15 at Stockton Arena.
