An interview with Minnesota’s Andrei Gotsmanov

Andrei Gotsmanov, was the only Minnesotan to be chosen to participate in the MLS Superdraft. He was chosen as the 24th overall pick by the New England Revolution.
Gotsmanov spoke to Inside Minnesota Soccer by phone from Creighton University where he is a senior in his last semester of school. Gotsmanov tells us how he found out that he was New England’s 3rd choice in the draft and how he prepared for his senior year of college in the off-season. He also spoke about the work ethic he learned from his father, Sergey, who was a professional soccer player, and how he thrives on the pressure that is placed on him to excel.
