IMS Weekend information – plus a bit of this and a byte of that
Be forewarned that IMS will be upgrading some software this weekend that is critical for the blog to continue running smoothly. Hopefully I won’t bring down the site entirely when I do this.
If there is someone out there who is WordPress savvy, likes what I’m doing here at Inside Minnesota Soccer and would be willing to donate their time to the cause of occasionally helping this website, please let me know. I could really use a go-to guy or gal for technical help on the site.
I will be attending the MYSA Symposium this weekend and hope to conduct some interviews while I’m there.
I’ll be proposing a few opportunities for our readers. One of them will offer you the chance to help design the Minnesota Thunder official supporters scarf for the 2009 season. The other will give you a chance to win a 2000 Chicago Fire Official Replica Home short-sleeved shirt in size XL, autographed by Justin Evans, Tenywa Bonseu, Dema Kovalenko, Josh Wolff, Carlos Bocanegra and DaMarcus Beasley. What do you have to do? Keep reading Inside Minnesota Soccer for more details.
Next week, I’ll be gone part of the week traveling to Columbus, Ohio to take in the U.S. vs. Mexico game at Crew Stadium. Even though it won’t be a warm vacation, I’m looking forward to the road trip and the time spent with my soccer buddies. It’s hard to compare anything to a U.S. National team game. The passion is outstanding. I’ve never attended a U.S. vs. Mexico competition but am greatly looking forward to the greatest rivalry in CONCACAF. I’ll try to do some posting while I’m in Columbus.
