Thunder release March preseason schedule
The Minnesota Thunder will release their March pre-season schedule today. Dates of note are Thursday March 12th, when the players are to report to camp and Friday the 13th which is the first official day of training for contracted players.
Then on the 14th, the team travels to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to take on the Kansas City Wizards. Games are at 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. Tickets will go for $30.00 and help the Prairie youth soccer club and a food relief effort. More information is available here or by calling Janet at 319-845-3039.
The team then trains twice daily the following week with a couple of scrimmages at Shattuck St. Mary in Faribault, MN on Saturday the 21st. Times are 12:30 and 2:45 p.m.
The following week is again 2-a-days followed by a scrimmage on Saturday the 28th at Macalester College vs the U-18 Minnesota Thunder Academy team. That game will take place at 4:00 p.m.
The following day, Sunday the 29th, the team will scrimmage again at Shattuck with games at 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Opposing team TBD.
