Waiting for Spring

This photo was shot on a camera phone a few weeks ago by my friend Brenda. Taken on the east side of St. Paul it could be anywhere in the midwest at this time of year when we’re all getting overwhelmed by winter and dealing with our yearly battle of cabin fever. In this case, the fever was subdued by a makeshift game of footy in a thawing parking lot surrounded by snowbanks.
