In the process of the team’s drive to get this community support, Barcelona FC announced that they were pulling out their bid to create an MLS team in Miami. Julio Mariz, President of Traffic Worldwide, will be traveling from Brazil to Miami this weekend to meet with Davidson about his team’s situation. Last Sunday’s deadline for the USL team has come and gone.

With a decision looming large, Aaron Davidson takes the time to talk to Inside Minnesota Soccer about the events that led to this situation, the decision that will come this weekend, and USL’s involvement with Miami’s struggle for survival.
