I watched Angel Garcia today and was very impressed. I don’t know if the coaching staff felt the same, but he was very composed in the back, didn’t panic, passes were simple and accurate and I thought he looked like the best defender on the team.

We will see how he does Alma. He will probably see some time on the field in the friendlies that Thunder have scheduled this weekend. I hope he is good because we are still in need of a good central defender and time is running short before the season starts. As well, our primary central defender will not report to the team until after the first scheduled game of the season. So if he is good we will be glad to have him.

FYI, Jonathan Greenfield’s team is the Baltimore Blast and they play in the National Indoor Soccer League, not the Xtreme Soccer League…
