Minnesota native Tony Sanneh talks to IMS about his comeback to MLS and life beyond pro soccer
Minnesota native Tony Sanneh is a 15 year veteran of the game. Tony is back on the field with his old boss, Bruce Arena, playing for the Los Angeles Galaxy.
Tony had the weekend off and found himself back in his home state. Inside Minnesota Soccer caught up with him last Saturday at the Minnesota Thunder’s pre-season scrimmage at Macalester College in St. Paul.
Tony tells us about his long rehab to get back in the game, what he’s doing differently at age 37 to remain playing at a high level and also explains one of his motives to get back on the field and in front of his fans.
Sanneh describes his new passion that will carry him into retirement.
