Sorry SuperRookie, I missed the event. Do tell us all the details. It seems Braz is always good for a meltdown every couple of games. Word on the street is, the Dark Clouds supporters group plans on having an Adam Braz meltdown meter at the the Thunder opener next Saturday evening and will be encouraging Braz to have a meltdown during the game on Saturday. :)

No mention of the first "Adam Braz Meltdown" (fusion de braz d'adam) of the season in the 53rd minute of the Montreal/Miami game?

Center circle seats are 22/game, outer side lines are 18/ticket. There's a 10% discount if you're a member of one of the registered supporters' groups.

Berm seats were 10 bucks. We're a little higher on the price scale than most, it seems.

They are all assigned seats, though in practice there seems to be little auditing of who goes where. I have seats on the center line, but I regularly sit up in Section A with the rest of Chantico's Army, and the organization is well aware of this. So there's a little variation in where folks sit.

Thanks for the report Chase. What do tickets run for at Aztex games? Are they all assigned seats with that big of a stadium?

At the Thunder games we have $12.00 tickets which are pretty much GA seating with some special more expensive reserved seating in the middle of the stadium. New this year are $5.00 ga seating around the north, east and south sides of the stadium which are all aluminum bleachers. This is new for the Thunder so unless they hire more ushers/ticket people that in the past, they will have the same problems. But really, it's a great way to get people to come out to games that might not ordinarily pony up the money for a full price ticket.

At Nelson Field there's a grassy knoll/berm thing that runs in an arc behind the north goal area. The Aztex had opened it up to $10 general admission seating. The first (and last) game this was available was Tuesday against the Whitecaps. I have no idea how many tickets they sold to it, but only one person sat in the berm area for the match.

Given that the Aztex don't really check seating assignments after you get in the gate, there must have been a fair number of folk who bought berm seats and then sat in the stands. For that reason they seem to have closed it.
