Ansu Toure battles with Toronto FC's Dwayne De Rosario
Former Minnesota Thunder player Ansu Toure scored his first two goals for the Vancouver Whitecaps last night in a great matchup at Swangard stadium. The Whitecaps defeated Major League Soccer’s Toronto FC 2-0 in the Canadian Championship tournament.
Toronto must now defeat the Montreal Impact by 4 goals to win the Nutrilite Canadian Championship. It looks very much like Toure helped his team to become this year’s CONCACAF Champions League Canadian representative.
