A group of Minnesota Soccer supporters converged on Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill yesterday to watch the Chicago Fire play the Houston Dynamo. The Dynamo won 1-0. It was a game that truthfully was a bit dour at times. Chicago had great off the ball movement but their choice in passing options was a bit dire at times. The Fire had very few chances but seemed to squander those they did have.
The Fire only have one home win this year but are still atop the Western Division standings. Attendance: 13,246, but the Section 8 supporters nearly filled their area.
Flares lit off in the Section 8 supporters section around the 60th minute of the game.
