The Ultimate USA Traveling Fan’s Guide to Mexico City
On Wednesday, August 12th of this year, the USA will play one of their biggest matches in several years – a World Cup qualifier at loathed rival Mexico, and their daunting 120,000-person capacity Estadio Azteca in the District Federal.
Because of the importance of this match, and the bigger than ever quantity of USA fans that will be traveling to the game, my friend Adam Spangler of This Is American Soccer spearheaded the idea to create a USA traveling fan’s guide to Mexico City. Major contributors to the project are also my friends Bruce McGuire of duNord Football and Andy Wattenhofer of Blue Sky Soccer.
