Time to Reflect – 500 Posts in 9 months

Wow, I went to make a new post and realized I had made my 500th post at Inside Minnesota Soccer. It feels like a landmark for sure. I have been up and running for 9 months and this is the 501st post.

As of today I have had 74,700 visits to the site with 120,462 page views with 35,589 unique visitors coming from everywhere in the world. Minnesota is responsible for 40,397 visits via 164 cities. I am now averaging 16,000 visits a month. That to me is staggering.

Thanks to everyone for a great 9 months for Inside Minnesota Soccer. And to think, we still have 3 more months yet of high school, college and USL-1 soccer to go. What a year this has been.

Please, if you like Inside Minnesota Soccer, pass the word onto  your friends. Word of mouth is the best way to spread the IMS word.

A special thanks goes out to Brenda Natala and Teresa Petersen for all the hours editing my sometimes troublesome writing. They’ve been invaluable in editing and suggestions and have made reading IMS a lot more enjoyable for you the reader.

Thanks especially to all of you who come to IMS on a regular basis and make it part of your daily soccer routine. I am humbled by your readership.

Congratulations, Brian, on hitting this first of many milestones !

I can’t believe it has already been 9 months of IMS. It seems just like yesterday you were telling me about this idea you had for a website.

Continued success with IMS and keep up the great job of informing fans about the happenings in the world of soccer.
