USA v Costa Rica – World Cup Qualifying Watch Party in the Twin Cities

Come join Minnesota supporters of the Men’s National Team, along with readers of Inside Minnesota Soccer.com, for a US National Team watch party.

The US National Team plays Costa Rica on Wednesday, October, 14th with at 7:00 p.m. CT kick off.

The game will be live from RFK Stadium in Washington, DC and carried on ESPN II.

The US is coming off a huge win and an emotional high after defeating Honduras away on Saturday 3-2, which punches the US a ticket to the World Cup for the 6th consecutive time. Even though we defeated Honduras on Saturday evening, we could still help them get to the World Cup by defeating Costa Rica (3rd place) Wednesday evening. If Costa Rica lose and Honduras (4th place) wins away against El Salvador (5th place), then Honduras will be making an appearance in South Africa next summer. So there’s a lot riding on those two games.

~~~~~~
The event will be held at the Sweetwater Bar and Grille in the Kelly Inn in St. Paul. As always, free parking and 2 for 1 tap beers. As a friend of mine told me after the first time he went to the Sweetwater, where else can you go to watch a game, park for free, get a couple of beers and a pizza all for around $15.00?
The Sweetwater is now an official U.S. Soccer Bar and is now the place to watch USMNT games. The Sweetwater had over 300 people packed in for the US Honduras game and did we party!
So come early, get a seat, order some dinner and get ready to enjoy another US National Team win with like-minded US Soccer supporters.
Come join other U.S. National Team supporters from Minnesota as the team plays their last game of the hexagon of the CONCACAF qualifiers.
The US is attempting to finish first in the CONCACAF standings.
Come join the party and see you at the Sweetwater!
    So there’s a 6 pm CT kickoff, but will be shown *LIVE* on ESPN2 at 7 pm CT? Is that a mistake?
