Nobody stabbed you in the back as you made your choice to go with the TOA and now you have to live with it. It sucks since the Thunder has been such a big part of USL for so long, but maybe after the new supposed break away league fails then you will be welcomed back. The USL is going to keep growing and it makes no sense for expansion Tampa who is located at the headquarters city to back out now on the USL. The Silverbacks basically lost their mens team by sitting out and Atlanta will have another team soon since Papadakis lives here and wants a team at the USL1 level. He is already associated with the PDL Blackhawks so that will probably be the team. As I have said before more teams on a regional level will make the league more successful so I guess we will have to wait a few weeks to see what comes out of the league meetings. My guess is some of these TOA group members will be begging to get back in the USL once they realize what a big mistake they have made by trying to break off from the league.

Boy oh boy, what a way to run a railroad. I hardly know where to begin. Let's start here: Premier Partnerships describes their firm as the "most prestigious in the soccer industry." Sure. Why not.

Allow me to respectfully disagree regarding Detroit. There is no MLS interest. There will never be any MLS interest. Detroit proper is dying slowly. 2 in 10 are jobless and houses are worthless.

Edmonton has failed once, in spectacular fashion. I guess Cleveland moving up was such a smashing success that we'll be seeing more of it now to make up the numbers. FC New York has a Queens crest but will be playing on Long Island. Charleston had previous commitments that apparently prevented a single human being with any connection to the team from attending what were ostensibly formative meetings. Tampa Bay has yet to play a match and already doesn't seem to know what they want. The two clubs that played in the league championship LAST MONTH are persona non grata. USL. Feel The Excitement.

I just want the Thunder to play someone, anyone, in any league. Although preferably not the USL after today's Amateur Hour.

We never needed to form a league, we just needed to let the USL sale take its course. It sounds like things are moving in the right direction with the reforms discussed herein.

This is not going well. Papadakis stabbed us in the back. They'll go ahead with the changes anyway. He didn't even give us a chance. How are we going to form a league with 5 teams?
