2010 MLS Super Draft
The 2010 MLS Super Draft is Thursday beginning at 1:00 CT.
The draft will be carried live on ESPN2 at 1:00 CT. and at ESPN360.com.
Minnesota’s Teal Bunbury is on most everyone’s mock draft, going early and in the top ten and quite possibly to Kansas City. The Wizards hold pick #4 and Teal’s father Alex played for the Wizards as well.
When Teal’s name is called he will be the first son of a former MLS player to play in the league. If he goes to KC he will be the first on the same team as well, a record that is sure to stand for a while before it’s matched.
According to Soccer by Ives, he has the first 5 players going as:
1. Philadelphia Union- DANNY MWANGA, F, Oregon State
2. New York Red Bulls- TONY TCHANI, M, Virginia
4. Kansas City Wizards- TEAL BUNBURY, F, Akron
5. FC Dallas- CORBEN BONE, M, Wake Forest

MLS Net will also have some live coverage and they have plenty of articles about this newest crop of players who experts are saying may not be as good overall as the 2009 class, but it certainly has more shining stars than last year’s group.
