Come join Minnesota supporters of the Men’s National Team, along with readers of Inside Minnesota Soccer.com, for a US National Team watch party.

The US National Team plays Honduras in a friendly on Saturday, January 23, with an 8:00 p.m. CT kick off.

The game will be live from The Home Depot Center in Carson, CA and carried on Fox Soccer Channel and Telefutura.

With less than five months to go until the 2010 FIFA World Cup commences in South Africa, the United States Men’s National Team kicks off the year against fellow CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers, Honduras. The January camp and game has traditionally served as a staging ground for MLS players who are looking to make an impression, and this year’s opportunity has a little extra spice with the carrot of the World Cup roster dangling before their eyes.

The event will be held at the Sweetwater Bar and Grille in the Kelly Inn in St. Paul. As always, free parking and 2 for 1 tap beers.

The Sweetwater is now an official U.S. Soccer Bar and is now the place to watch USMNT games.

So come early, get a seat, order some dinner and get ready to enjoy another US National Team win with like-minded US Soccer supporters.

Come join the party and see you at the Sweetwater!

I was forced to spend time with my wife last night instead of coming over to watch the soccer match. I heard that it was ugly. What happened? I heard a US player got a red card.

Please don’t make us go through that again . It reminded me of a disaster movie where the whole world is destroyed, starting with this team.
