Calling the stadium The Nessy rolls off the tongue better than Nessy as a mascot. I hear the pond out back is about 800 feet deep.

Actually, there seems to be a lot of people that like that name. However, I am not one of them. Nessy is supposed to represent what N-S-C sounds like when saying it quickly. Then there is the pound out back of the stadium so….. its really a stretch, isn’t it. We’ve got to be able to do a lot better than that.

SuperRookie is leading the charge for a mascot named Nessy. If Nessy becomes the mascot, then the stadium could be The Loch. (pronounced “lock”). Fear the creature from the deep at the Loch!
