Ticket Prices and Packages Revealed for NSC Stars

The NSC Stars pro soccer team have announced their ticket prices and packages.

Single game ticket prices range from $6 for youth (14 and under) general admission to $30 for pitchside seats.

Pitch Side (on field): $30
Reserved: $20
General Admission: $13 ($11 presale*)

Youth GA (14 and under): $8 ($6 presale*)

* Presale tickets must be purchased no later than 48 hours before game time.

Season tickets also went on sale:
Pitch Side (on field) is $375
Reserved is $250
General Admission is $175
Youth GA (14 and under) is $75
Stars Supporters  $190 and Youth $90

All season tickets seem to be flex except for the youth package which is fair considering the price of that package which is Youth GA, 14 and under for $50. I’m not sure why someone would purchase the $75 youth GA if they can purchase  the $50 package except for the option of being flex.

According to the website the season tickets benefits include:
»  Ticket for all home games
»  Tickets to all exhibition and Open Cup games held at National Sports Center
»  Merchandise discounts
»  Special events invitations

»  Stars Supporter Package also get a supporter designed scarf.

–My initial thoughts are that prices rose slightly. I would have preferred for them to stay the same for this initial year until they get all the bugs worked out but fair enough, everything else is going up as well.
–General admission is the same throughout the stadium eliminating the cheap $5 seat which was never enforced last year and would often find folks purchasing that ticket and sitting elsewhere in the stadium. The $5 cheap seat may well have cheapened the product as well. So this is most likely a good thing over all.
–The reserved seating has gone up $5 this year to $20 and the pitchside has also gone up to $30, an $80.00 a year increase in both cases which is no small amount. However, it’s still lower than many of the prices around the league.
–It seems that all US Open Cup games and exhibition games come with the season tickets which is a big cost savings for season ticket holders.
–The supporters are still next to the reserved section which was a definite complaint amongst some reserved seat holders at the supporters stakeholders summit.

What are your thoughts?

It’s my understanding that a lot of the supporters would be happier behind a goal anyway, so maybe it’s not such a bad idea to move them.
Then again, it is a soccer game, and I’m generally of the mind that people should be pleased by a loud supporter’s section rather than getting annoyed by it.

Good deal. But their still a bit pricier than a world class club like Sagantosu. P.S. First kick is this Sunday! W00t!!1

I could go either way on the supporter section though. This way, the people who come to the matches more often have the added benefit of a great view of the action.

On the other hand, the supporter section seats should be the cheapest in the house; which usually means they’re at the ends. Also, I wouldn’t mind sitting next to that Corner Pub either ;)
