USA v El Salvador – Watch Party in the Twin Cities

2010 February 23
by Brian Quarstad

Come join Minnesota supporters of the Men’s National Team, along with readers of Inside Minnesota Soccer.com, for a US National Team watch party.

The US National Team plays El Salvador in a friendly on Wednesday, February 24, with a 6:00 p.m. CT kick off.

The game will be live from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL and carried on ESPN Classic and Galavision.

Fans can also follow the match live via ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker and on Twitter.

The countdown to the 2010 FIFA World Cup continues with less than four months remaining until the USA kicks off its campaign in South Africa with the June 12 match against England. Preparations for the tournament are reaching a head, as the next test for the U.S. comes in the form of fellow CONCACAF side El Salvador.

This will be the last chance for the non-European based players to make an impression on coach Bob Bradley as they try to convince him that they too should have a place on the World Cup squad that travels to South Africa this summer.

~~~~~~
The event will be held at the Sweetwater Bar and Grille in the Kelly Inn in St. Paul. As always, free parking and 2 for 1 tap beers.
The Sweetwater is now an official U.S. Soccer Bar and is now the place to watch USMNT games.
So come early, get a seat, order some dinner and get ready to enjoy another US National Team win with like-minded US Soccer supporters.
Come join the party and see you at the Sweetwater!
