PLEASE NOTE: The game will be broadcast live Wednesday afternoon, but the Sweetwater will be taping the broadcast and reshowing it at 7:00 PM which is when we will have our watch party at the Sweetwater.

The Sweetwater will also carry the game live Wednesday afternoon.

The US National Team plays Holland in a friendly on Wednesday, March 3, with a  1:30 p.m. CT kick off with live coverage from at Amsterdam ArenA on ESPN2 and Galavision. Fans can also follow the match live via ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker and on Twitter.

“This is a great opportunity for us to bring many of our European-based players together as we continue to finalize our plans for the World Cup roster,” said US coach Bob Bradley. “This is the final match before we bring the team together for the World Cup, so to have a match against one of the top teams in the world like the Netherlands is a big benefit and a good challenge for our group. They are expecting a large crowd to turn out for the game, and we are looking forward to an exciting atmosphere in Amsterdam.”

The event will be held at the Sweetwater Bar and Grille in the Kelly Inn in St. Paul. As always, free parking and 2 for 1 tap beers.

I watched some of the match today. I can honestly say that I am embarrassed to be an American after watching our lads running around on the soccer pitch with their new jerseys. They (the jerseys) look terrible!

BTW, I cannot make it tonight. BQ, be sure to have a pint for me!
