NSC Minnesota Stars Head Coach Manny Lagos Talks About First Player Combine

The first player combine of Minnesota’s newest pro soccer team is history. Those involved with the event reported that things went very smoothly. With the NSC as host, they were able to use their facilities to accommodate the players which made life a lot easier for both the trialists and staff.
Lagos explains that many of the guys slept in the NSC dorms and everyone ate at the cafeteria. Because of that Lagos explained that the camaraderie seemed to build during the week and the ex-MLS player said a number of players impressed him enough to invite them to the Stars training camp with a couple of others who just might be offered a contract immediately.
