2010 NSC Minnesota Stars Supporters Awards & Auction
Continuing the Minnesota Thunder’s Dark Cloud Supporters group tradition of an end-of-the-year supporters awards and auction, you are invited to join the NSC Minnesota Stars supporters, players and front office for this event.
The highlights of the event are the awarding of the Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year, silent auction of soccer gear and memorabilia for a charitable cause.
Kevin Friedland, player/coach, has been instrumental in the past in gathering items from the players for the auction such as warm-up jackets, training gear, and boots. Last season’s auction raised over $500.00 for Grassrootsoccer. This year the supporters will add the proceeds from the auction to the pledges made by the supporters to the Sanneh Foundation’s Haiti Relief.

I had a family emergency come up and may not make it. If I cannot be there, I want to thank the Stars for a lot of fun this past soccer season–many great memories. I would like to nominate the match at home vs. the Dirtyhawks as the “Best match of the Season,” and Nessy for the best mascot of the year–Gary the Cat comes in a close second.
I sure hope that we can have another summer of total jackassery in the beer garden next year!
