Come join Minnesota supporters of the Men’s National Team, along with readers of Inside Minnesota Soccer.com, for a US National Team watch party.

The US National Team plays Colombia in a friendly on Tuesday, October 12 with a 7 p.m. CT kick off. The game will be carried live from PPL Park in Chester, Pa., on ESPN2 and Galavision. Fans can also follow the match live via ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker and on Twitter.

*Carlos Bocanegra and Steve Cherundolo returned to their clubs following Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Poland, with Cherundolo having earned ussoccer.com Man of the Match honors on Saturday night. The FC Dallas duo of Heath Pearce and Brek Shea joined the team Sunday in Philadelphia.
*The USA holds a 3-9-3 lifetime record against Colombia. In the four meetings since 2000, they are 1-2-1.
*The last matchup came in the 2007 Copa America, the U.S. falling 1-0 on July 5 in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. Brad Guzan, Eddie Johnson and Heath Pearce were in the starting XI that day.
*The last time the teams met on U.S. soil came during the USA’s preparation for a 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mexico. On March 9, 2005, in Fullerton, Calif., Dempsey and Johnson were on the field as the U.S. cruised to a 3-0 victory.
*Jozy Altidore scored the 10th goal of his international career when he gave the U.S. an early lead against Poland. Jermaine Jones got his first point in his first cap when he put Altidore through for the score.
*Eric Lichaj and Brek Shea are the only two players on the roster in search of their first international cap.
*Alejandro Bedoya’s parents are originally from Colombia, leaving slightly divided loyalties amongst the family. Ussoccer.com spoke with Bedoya about the excitement of this game and his career for club and country.

Pity that Aubi Guloti is such a mala testa. The great majority of soccer fans do not agree with his choice of keepping Bob Bradley. Four more years are going to be down the tubes. Bradley seems cannot put a team toggheter. We have the material, we have the players to put a team that can be a truhful representative of the United States of America.

Bradley and Suni have a lot to learn.
