Augsburg won a critical game on Friday 1-0 against Gustavus, which knocked the Gusties out of playoff contention allowing Concordia to take the 4th and final spot.  Macalester defeated Hamline 1-0 to assure them of the top seed and a first place finish.

In Saturday’s action Carleton defeated St. Olaf 3-1 in the Northfield derby that takes place the last Saturday of the season every year, and Concordia hung on to the #4 spot despite a 2-1 loss to St. Johns in overtime.

You might be right. That small field of Augsburg’s will play into their favor. I see Mac winning as well.

Interesting result last night in the MAC game, very unexpected. An Augsburg/Concordia final should be interesting!
