Minnesota’s last team in this year’s NCAA soccer tournaments crashed out last Saturday when the Gophers lost to Georgetown in the dying moments of the Division I women’s round of 16 game.

Minnesotan Devon Prideaux has 6 goals 3 assists for the undefeated Titans.

While Minnesota has no teams left in the playoffs, there is one Division III men’s program from Wisconsin who will be playing in the semifinals of the tournament. The Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titans (20-0-3) defeated Loras College last Friday by a score of 2-0. On that team are 4 Minnesotans: Junior forward Garrett O’Brien (Shoreview, Minn. (Mounds View)), senior forward Devon Prideaux (Eden Prairie, Minn. (Minnetonka)), freshman midfielder Ryan Redmond (Lake Elmo, Minn. (Mahtomedi)) and Junior defender Jesse Klein (Burnsville, MN).

Prideaux has 6 goals on the year with 3 assists for 15 points. Klein has 2 goals and 2 assists for 6 points and O’Brien has one goal. The four players have helped the Titans to remain the only undefeated team in the nation.

Wisconsin-Oshkosh will now play Messiah College in San Antonio, Texas on Friday, December 3rd in the semifinal, with the chance to play in the Championship on December 4th at Blossom Soccer Complex.
