Kassey Kallman Called into U-20 Women’s National Team
Woodbury, Minnesota native Kassey Kallman was called into the U.S. U-20 Women’s National Team once again. Kallman received her first call up and trained with the team for the first time at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif. that ran from Feb. 13-20.

Kallman, a defender, has already traveled with the team to La Manga, Spain, with the U-20′s where head coach April Heinrichs will bring 5 other defenders and a total of 18 players. They arrived to play three games from Feb. 28-March 9 at the Ten Nations Tournament.
Kassey Kallman made the decision to take a different road than her sisters Kylie and Krystle, who both played for the University of Minnesota. She instead chose Florida State where she had an outstanding freshman season and was named to the Soccer America All-Freshman first team.
According to Seminoles.com she was a key component to a Seminole defense that allowed an ACC low 14 goals during the regular season. She played a team-high 2,022 minutes and starting every game during the regular season and NCAA Tournament. She also contributed to the Seminole attack registering three goals and three assists, including the game-winning goal against Central Florida. For her efforts she was named to the ACC Second Team, ACC All-Freshman first team, TopDrawerSoccer All-Rookie Team and this previous week to the ACC Academic Team.
