Orlando City of USL PRO unveiled their jersey sponsor yesterday. Orlando Health, a $1.7 billion not-for-profit health care organization based in Central Florida is the sponsor.  Their logo will grace the front of the Orlando City uniforms.

The deal that also extends to Orlando City Soccer’s youth camps and clinics for young soccer players is a three-year agreement, which runs through 2013. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Looks like Orlando City is getting a lot more sponsorship support with higher level sponsors than they ever did when they were in Austin.

“Looks like Orlando City is getting a lot more sponsorship support with higher level sponsors than they ever did when they were in Austin.”

Surely you’re being sarcastic? Because Austin was sponsored by AMD, a major player in the computer components world.

I beg to differ. I don’t recall the length of the deal (it obviously didn’t last to term in any case), but the front-of-jersey sponsor of the Austin Aztex was a little shop called AMD.

I’d correct Bart too, but I’m guessing he probably gets the point by now. LOL

Folks, this was meant to provide a little sarcasm. I am fully aware of who was on the front jersey last season.

@Bart: Thanks for trying to inject some humor into a bitter situation.

    Props.

Maybe a more appropriate choice for Uncle Phil Jr’s relocated team’s jersey sponsor would be Mayflower Moving Company or United Van Lines…

That would seem like a match made in heaven.
