NSC Minnesota Stars Uniform Unveiling Party Tonight
The NSC Minnesota Stars announced last week their partnership with Admiral Sportswear who will outfit the team for the 2011 season.
The Stars will unveil those uniforms tonight, April 7th, at Cantina No. 1 restaurant at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn.
The 7 p.m. event is open to the public and will mark the first time the jersey has been seen by the public. The Stars will have replica jerseys available for presale, as well as a look at all of the Stars 2011 training gear.
Following the unveiling, fans will be able to mix with and talk to Minnesota Stars players and coaches.
Cantina #1 is on the east side of the top floor of Mall of America in Bloomington.

If NSC no longer owns the team, is there any thought of changing the name? I know that Minnesota will still play out of the NSC (and that they have other priorities at this point, like building a team), but just wondering.
Hey, Craig. This has been discussed here previously. For now it it NSC. I agree and I think management does as well, that the NSC name doesn’t really make a lot of sense at this point and time. I’m sure the NSC loves it. It’s free publicity for them. I would expect some changes next year when the team has time to regroup in the winter and make a plan for 2012.
Maybe now with 343RLP we’ll get a nice rebrand. I’m willing to wait in line, though. In a way, I’m very glad that the Stars have primarily focused on the product on the field. Events like this one go a long way for the fanbase.
Do I feel old! Nostalgia is teeming with the “new” NASL teams, a revamped ball and now the return of the Admiral brand. Are they going to roll out a throw-back Kickers uni?
What the heck is going on with the live streaming? Other than “yes there will be streaming”, I haven’t found any evidence that it will happen saturday…
I would hate to see the Stars lose the “NSC,” although I intially thought it was stupid. I think it could always be used to stand for “Norstar Soccer Club,” or something like that. I also know there has been a connection made between some Stars supporters and the supporters group from Brighton & Hove Albion Seagulls–”North Stands Chat.” I think we have to be the only lower level soccer team in the US with a sizeable contingent of supporters in England.
Come on you Seagulls; Come on you Stars!
You do realize that the Impact are also the Gulls.
Any pictures yet?
I posted an article with photos last night. Gota check out the whole site, not just this article.
