U.S. Soccer Names the 2011 US Women’s National Team’s World Cup Roster

U.S. Soccer released this morning the roster for this year’s 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup team that will take place in Germany between June 26 and July 17, 2011. More details to come but for now here are the members of the Women’s National Team that will represent the US in this year’s World Cup.
GOALKEEPERS: Hope Solo, Nicole Barnhart, Jillian Loyden.
DEFENDERS: Christie Rampone, Heather Mitts, Ali Krieger, Amy LePeilbet, Stephanie Cox, Rachel Buehler, Becky Sauerbrunn.
MIDFIELDERS: Shannon Boxx, Carli Lloyd, Lindsay Tarpley, Megan Rapinoe, Lori Lindsey, Tobin Heath, Heather O’Reilly.
FORWARDS: Abby Wambach, Amy Rodriguez, Alex Morgan, Lauren Cheney.
