Whoah?!?! WHat the he-double hockey sticks (that would be “hell”) is going on here???
I thought that was the sight that didn’t cover Minnesota soccer anymore. Ya know, the one that had grown to big, lost its way, forgetten its great commision and mandate.
Where the hell are the critics after you give them what they have been all but demanding?
I am confused…
I guees that I am jumping the gun. Afterall, yesterday was Sunday and I didn’t post any comments or pieces all weekend, while the guy who runs this fantactic website–a labor of love–managed to post about the USA getting the smackdown by the current world champs, regional corruption, the NASL and some other items.
I am sure that the great critic will have at least a few words of encouragement to share, now that the mastermind behind the site that helped most of us learn where to actuall find Minnesota on a map has now managed to find the time in a congested soccer weekend to tell us which club won the U-13 girls bragging rights in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
I am sure that when i check back here, later this week, there will be a post here, acknowledging some coverage of Minnesota soccer.
I’m just going to wait for it…
I’m just glad none of the annoying soccer parents come on here.
^I’m a soccer parent and I a lot of folks would say that I am as annoying as hell.
I stand corrected
Hey I was busy yesterday watching my son’s team play. To be honest I rarely check this site on the weekend. 95% of the time I check it while at work.
No big suprises other than the U15B MTE losing to MUS on a controversial call in the 18 for a game winning PK. MTE beat them 7-1 previously, but were down to 10 men in the second half. Girls side, the games are getting closer and closer for MTA at the finals. U16 and U18 expected to be weaker due to DAP play. This may be the beginning of the end for MTA dominance in the State Cup because many of the elite clubs are going to US Club national premier league starting next year.
Oh, BTW thanks for posting.
Great point Dane!
But please Do not over look the MTW, where they are supposed to be the development spectrum of the Academy but I think they showed good results other than losing to MTA Elite teams sometimes. Congrats to all State Cup Champions. Only wish is State Cup should be a bit closer to TC next year. Good luck at Regional tournaments.
Keep up great coverage BQ! Youth is future!
Congrats to all the State Cup Champs! Best of luck to all MN teams in Fox Cities at the end of June – do us proud!
