Eric Hassli Wonder Strike

If you missed the Seattle Sounders v Vancouver Whitecaps game on Saturday evening you missed a barn burner. But the high drama was saved for late as Osvaldo Alonso scored for the Sounders in the 84th minute to put Seattle in front.

But just one minute later Eric Hassli of the Whitecaps hit what may very well be the MLS goal of the season and drew the game even once again. Out of nothing – as the English announcers might say. This goal is special and if you’ve not seen it you need to check it out. If you have, you’ll want to see it again.

Awesome strike! Too bad he has to sit out every third game due to a red card or yellow card accumulation.
