Stars Players Geison Moura and Lucas Rodriguez Re-sign with MISL Comets

After having a good first year with MISL indoor team the Missouri Comets, NSC Minnesota Stars players Geison Moura and Lucas Rodriguez have each signed new contracts with the team for the 2011-12 season.
Rodriguez, who was named Rookie of the Year in the MISL last season, has signed a 2-year contract. The Buenos Aires, Argentina native scored six goals and has seven assists (19 points) in 17 games with the Comets.
Geison, the Sao Caetano, Brazil midfielder, signed a 1-year contract. He scored 23 points in 24 games with the Comets.
Rodriguez has made 12 appearances with the Stars this season with 902 minutes played. He has 1 goal and 1 assist. Geison has played in 3 games for the Stars in 2011 logging in 99 minutes with 1 assist.
