    Wow, looks like it was a rough night for Baart. There were some defensive miscues there but the Eddies keeper certainly misplayed a number of those shots on goal. Also, some very nice crosses by Ft. Lauderdale. Those dropping crosses right to the target are tough for any defender to do much about.

    The only drawback on the night was that only the first goal was on the supporters end. Being right in the middle of the “Lockhart Leap” after Shriver’s first goal was awesome!

    Unreal match. I’ve never seen anything like that from South Florida’s club. Pure brilliance. Could have been 7 or 8-0 with better finishing in the first half.

    Look out Islanders, here we come!!

    *sighs* A lot of us in Edmonton have waited a whole lot longer then just this season to see a professional club in Edmonton play. This doesn’t shake that joy, but it mutes it a little right now. I already bought two season tickets for next year, and I know a few hundred have been sold already. Edmonton has a soccer future to look forward to.

    @Daniel Blogdett

    Hopefully the money you paid is refundable, if Traffic does not continue to fund the needed NASL teams that are needed to make up the league.

    I thought Edmonton did well for their inaugural season.
