RIP Steve Jobs

Thank you Steve Jobs. It’s hard to understand how any one man could affect so many people in so many ways but you have. In fact I doubt anyone will really comprehend it until we are 30, 40 or 50 years down the line and looking back.

For me personally, I purchased my first Mac Classic, used, in 1992 and the rest was history.

In my job I made a transition from old school lithography/graphic arts to high-end desktop publishing systems and eventually to an Apple Macintosh where it finally all made the most sense.

For 15 years I have made a living working on a Mac, fed my family by working on a Mac, have worked toward my retirement working on a Mac.

I learned new writing skills that I had previously not explored, all while working on a Mac.

IMS is brought to you by the work I do on my Mac.

Steve Jobs, I didn’t need to personally meet you to understand that your genius, your unbridled creativeness and your untethered vision have shaped my life and the life of millions.

Thank you!

Rest in Peace

Very well said Brian. I am simply in shock right now. I almost feel like I have lost a part of my family. How weird is that over someone that I have never met. I just can’t even begin to explain this feeling except to say that the world is less of a place with him gone.

As much as i hate apple and most of its products and probably hated Steve Jobs even more, i have to admit that without him we would not be living in this wonderful tech filled world that we live in today and as much as i didn’t like Steve i still had major respect for the guy. He will be missed by all. My condolences to his family and friends! Steve you truly had a very big and important impact on the world and you will be missed! RIP Steve Jobs.

I hope his estate buys the NSC MN Stars. I think it would meet the USSF financial criteria.

Couldn’t agree more BQ. I make my living as a graphic artist on a Mac too. The world lost one of it’s great innovators and visionaries. RIP Steve!
