I’m pretty sure Eastview upset Eagan
Your right, Kylie. Thanks and corrected.
Great reporting on the girls HS action! I was impressed with Mahtomedi and their move from A to AA this past season. They had a strong team and I was disappointed that they lost in the section finals.
I was also disappointed that I did not get a chance to make it to the Centennial/Mounds View final. The two teams played an exciting 0-0 draw earlier in the season and was floored that Centennial topped them 3-0. Centennial has been strong all season, and had seen some improvements in their prowess due to some personnel changes during the season. It will be interesting to see if they can keep the momentum up in the state finals. Come on you Cougars!
In A, I think Blake is the team to beat. They have been strong all year and have a solid program. My dark horse pick is South St. Paul. I watched them in their first match of the year and did not think that they were that strong. However, they have been steady throughout the course of the season.
St. Peter beat Albert Lee in penalty kicks, then played Mankato West on Friday 10/22.
