Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from IMSoccer News
Sorry for the lack of new posts in the past several days. I fell far behind in my personal holiday affairs this early winter. I found myself scrambling this past week to prepare for all the festivities like shopping and cooking. But it was all worth it. The past few days have been a wonderful just hanging out with family.
This is a great opportunity for me to thank all those readers who so faithfully chose to read IMS on a regular basis this past year. The site continues to grow because of you the readers as well as my staff who contribute so much with hardly any thanks. Some contribute regularly with their tireless daily editing, like Teresa Petersen. Others contribute with their fantastic photography, like Jeremy Olson and Rob McKinney. Their work makes IMS so much more interesting because of their skilled craftsmanship that they willing share with all of you.
Still others contribute regularly and some infrequently by adding content and commentary through articles, comments and podcasts. A big “thank you” goes out to folks like Gerry Wittmann, Kyle Nelson, Jay Long, Julie Eibensteiner, Armando Diaz, Chris Martz, Jerrod Roh, Joe Leyba, Mike Ponicki, Aaron Frederickson and Scott Kerssen. Thanks to every one of you who have helped IMS out this past year and contributed to the site’s continuing growth in 2011.
It was a good year thanks to all the readers and contributors.

Merry Christmas to all of IMS. Here’s to 2012 where the Stars will go for their second NASL Championship to build that thing called an DYNASTY!
No, no, Brian. Thank you. The pleasure of reading it and the honor of being allowed to contribute to it are all mine.
That’s a great picture. Happy holidays!
The puppy in the picture needs a Voyageurs scarf, especially if it is going to be supporting soccer in the snow.
Hope everyone had a great holiday season…even Bart! LOL Can’t wait to flip the calendar to 2012 and start gearing up for the new season! As uhclem said, it’s we who thank you BQ for a great site to go to regularly to get our soccer fix!
Brian, thank you for all of your hard work. IMS continues to be my source for soccer in MN and beyond. My favorites from 2011 was the NASL podcast, coverage on college soccer and the Kallman family, the article on the Stars tactics and ongoing discussion on the buckeyball. You fill the void and help keep us posted on topics that are important to the serious and casual soccer fan alike. Also, thank you for giving me the opportunity to be apart of the excitement in 2011.
Keep up the great work!
