>> Hopefully things will improve with Altman back against Atlanta on 5/5 at the Nessy.
>>

Hopefully; six goals conceded in two matches is never a good thing. But it's so early yet, difficult to draw too many conclusions.

That said, I know people tend to like Altman, but my wife and I have seen every minute of play in the club's existence so far, and both agree that he is somewhat of a liability. He was a big reason why we struggled at the back against Edmonton, for instance.

I thought Connor Tobin played really well against Fort Lauderdale, maybe he should get another look?

After watching this match and Atlanta's recent 4-4 draw against Carolina, I am beginning to question whether or not Atlanta still has a lot of maturing to do in order to advance in the NASL. There was poor marking by Atlanta when they drew against Carolina, and even worse against the Stars. These matches gives a great template for teams to beat the Silverbacks when they are down a goal late.

However, there is no excuse for the poor defending by the Stars. The Stars were simply to exposed when Atlanta counter-attacked. Cristino did come up with a great tackle late in the match, which could have resulted in a fourth Atlanta goal. Hopefully things will improve with Altman back against Atlanta on 5/5 at the Nessy.

Man of the Match is certainly Davis. Great job stepping up and placing a nice shot from distance into the back of the net. Keep up the great work Justin!
