"But you cannot afford to lose one of your best players to another D2 or D3 team. "

@Kel, You can afford to loose him if your budget gets slashed and he's one of your most expensive players. It's unfortunate but Carolina and Ft. Lauderdale are learning to live on a budget that the Stars Manny Lagos has been living with for 3 seasons. Tough times until these teams start making some money by getting more fans in the seats or new owners.

While Campos is no Barbara, Matt Watson, or even Jonny Steele(when he is on his game), his loss stings the RailHawks even more. You expect and encourage players to leave for MLS. But you cannot afford to lose one of your best players to another D2 or D3 team. Without Rennie, things got exposed quickly in Carolina.

Been to all the home games and watched the away. One thing for sure is they are working well as a team right now. The defense is figuring out how to play with each other and the have been solid. The Rowdies goal was a great shot, but only came because of the poor clearance. Also the unsung hero is our keeper. Stopped balls that were on target for sure. Also the fans in SA will remain at 9-10k the whole year. The game against Ft. Lauderdale in SA was evident that the fans played a role. The Strikers lost all composure and the fans were loudly involved in that game, and it willed the Scorpions to the draw..

“It’s a well-deserved recognition for Pablo,” Scorpions head coach Tim Hankinson said.

I was reading the dictionary this morning and under the word "dangerous," there was a picture of Campos. I watched the reply of this match and I think Coach Hankinson hit the nail on the head with his comment--this guy is a stud. I am looking forward to seeing Campos play when the Scorpions come to Minnesota, and also watch the Stars/Scorpions WWW feeds. (Let's just hope Campos is off during those matches.) The Scorpions are starting to gel, and I see them making the playoffs this season if they continue to play good soccer.
