I really have no problem with Iowa and there are a great many Norwegians there,but I know Iowans have a deep rooted insecurity and you know how I like to stir the pot ( not the 420 version)

How come when I try to rent a car in Des Moines my only options are John Deere, Massey Ferguson, or International?

hate is such a strong work ;) i am sure it may be an iowan-insecurity thing, but des moines has cornfields. when i went to university at drake a few years ago, and my visits back to dsm ever since… the south end of town by the zoo and aiport, in the city proper, i can definitively say, have cornfields lol

Haha. I hate when people say that. Des Moines is not a farm city. We do not have corn in the city. Sure some edges of the urban sprawl might still be cornfields, but that happens everywhere that cities grow into/take over agricultural areas.
