Minnesota Stars USOC Watch Party at the Sweetwater
Last week, the Stars progressed to the third round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. The team will face Major League Soccer’s Real Salt Lake, who currently lead MLS with 29 points from 14 games. The game was originally scheduled to be played at NSC Stadium, but the Stars and RSL reached an agreement to move the venue to Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. The Stars and Minnesota Dark Clouds invite you to join them Tuesday night, May 29, for a watch party as the Stars look to advance. Tuesday’s event begins at 7 p.m. (one hour before kickoff) at the Sweetwater Bar & Grille, conveniently located off I-94 near downtown St. Paul.
From 7 p.m. until the final whistle, the Sweetwater will be serving FREE Bud Light and FREE non-alcoholic beverages to Stars fans. All other draft beers will be discounted to just $3.
Stars FC staff will also be on hand Tuesday night to discuss fans’ concerns and answer questions about the venue change.
