Any theories on my the lower division teams excelled last night? Is the "gap" closing between MLS and D2/D3?

I will admit I am a hardcore Stars fan. Yeah, RSL was missing some players due to national team call-up, however, they seemed to manage just fine against San Jose last week. Maybe it is time to seriously consider promotion/relegation versus expanding MLS. Just a thought...

^Bro, you know that it's gonna be getting lit up.

And while they didn't lose to a PDL side, the Crew got beat by a lcub that hasn't managed to win a game in the third division this season.

They got beat by a club that is based in the same state that most of their fans had never even heard of.

I know the Fire Robert Warzyha page on bigsoccer is probably on fire right now. At least the Crew didn't lose to a PDL side. But yea Fire RW.
Loved seeing the Railhawks , Scorpions, and Stars pull Up setters.

The only time that I ever get salty when an MLS side loses to a lower division club in the USOC is when it's my local team, DC United (and even then, I'm just a little bit salty because if they had handled their business, they would've won).

There are some MLS supporters disgusted this morning, wondering how their clubs managed to lose to teams that are struggling in the third division and some college kids.
