Also, just in case you missed it, these players are not automatic starters against Chelsea. Pappa could still make it if he is named as part of the the game-day roster on Sunday. The decision is Ben Olson’s to make.

For example, David Beckham lately has been a huge distraction for the LA Galaxy. His little outburst against San Jose was tasteless (kicking a ball at a ref), and then going to Wimbledon when he is serving his suspension. (He also has not contributed much on the pitch for the team.)

I will admit my bias as a Chicago Fire fan. However, I think most sensible MLS fans would agree that Marco Pappa deserved to be named to the starting XI.
