Earlier this year, IMSoccer News featured the U.S. National Amputee Soccer Team and the organization behind the team, the American Amputee Soccer Association (AASA). After a busy seven months that saw the team travel around the country holding clinics and playing the Mexican and Haitian National Amputee Soccer Teams, the US National Team is spending the week in Minnesota.

In partnership with the National Sports Center, Schwan’s USA Cup, and Minnesota Stars FC, the AASA will be promoting Amputee soccer during the week-long youth soccer tournament. Players from the US National Team will be holding demonstrations in the Sports Hall (The Hub) July 17-19 from 4-6:30.

On July 18th the AASA will host an introductory clinic featuring members of the National Team from 4-6:30. The clinic is free to attend and all participants in the clinic will receive two free tickets to the Minnesota Stars FC game against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers July 18th at 7:30pm. During halftime the US National Amputee Soccer Team will play an exhibition game.
