Michael Orozco’s Historic Game Winning Goal at Estadio Azteca

An unlikely trio of players created some US Soccer history on Wednesday night. Brek Shea, Terrance Boyd and Michael Orozco, all 2nd half subs for the US Men’s National Team friendly against Mexico, combined for a goal in the 80th minute to give the US its first victory in 75 years on Mexican soil. It was also the first ever US win at Estadio Azteca, which was first opened in 1966.
