The Minnesota Stars FC held their press conference on Thursday afternoon in downtown Minneapolis to announce the new owner of the team, Dr. Bill McGuire.

It’s good that the Stars have a local owner with money and commitment who wants to do big things. That can only be a positive.
I don’t like the chances of the Stars averaging 10,000 a game next year (as he apparently states in this article: http://www.startribune.com/sports/177992421.html), but if he has the resources to give Djorn to work with, let’s see what happens.
