Minnesota Dark Clouds Supporters Award Ceremony and Auction

The coveted Jackass Award given each year to a Dark Clouds supporter who has shown exemplary commitment to fandom.

Every year the Dark Clouds supporters gather together and recognize Minnesota Stars FC players as well as supporters who’ve made important contributions to the season. This year’s program will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Brick’s in Blaine. Brick’s Pub has supported the Stars all season with post game parties. The location is just west of the NSC Stadium and east of Highway 65. (Map)

This event is open to the public and not just Dark Clouds supporters and ALL FANS of the Minnesota Stars FC are encouraged to come and enjoy a night of festivities with your favorite Minnesota Stars soccer players, coaches, front office staff as well as the fans you share your game day experience with.

Awards to be presented are Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Jackass (Fan) of the Year, and occasionally a Buzz Lagos Lifetime Achievement Award. There will also be some other fun awards handed out to players which will be voted on by card carrying Dark Clouds members.

Also, Stars players and coaches come with personal items from this past season to donate for a silent auction. Proceeds of this year’s auction will go to Team4Sly with more information available here.
