Talking with Cody Cropper, 15 year old goalkeeper who might be playing in Europe soon

Recently, Inside Minnesota Soccer reported on teenage phenom goalkeeper, Cody Cropper. Cody was featured in an article on USL.com as well as the Thunder Academy web site.

Inside Minnesota Soccer caught up with Cody at the Augsburg Dome and spoke to him about a very important trip he has lined up at the end of January.  Cropper has been invited back to Wolverhampton, of the English League Championship, for his third trial with the youth academy. His father said, “They have told us that his performance in a match on February 7th will determine whether they sign him or not, so we are keeping our fingers crossed. During his first two trials, he had the opportunity to train with the Reserve Team.”

Cody took the time to talk to IMS about his current training with Nick Platter and some of his experiences while on trial in England. He even tells what it was like facing up against England international, Jermain Defoe.
